Story points have been designed to do estimation and not explain anything. It's an approved, institunalised and legal way of lying about amount of work needed 🙂

I always disliked relative story points ( I even wrote a post about it). For the last 5+ years, all my teams are doing points based on a rule: 2 points = a day, following fibbanachi sequence. In our case it proved to be very accurate and easy to understand to everyone. On small task and big ones. On complex and simple ones.

Making things easy to understand is important 😊
