From building small of startup organisation, throgh corporate-based startup of 40 across 4 platforms, to a highly efficient company with almost 100 engineers spread across two countries in 15 agile teams.
When we reach numbers above 100 (I would suggest to lower it to 50), this is where engineering organisation starts to split into smaller and a bit more independent groups. Each can follow the same approach, #3 for example, but don't have to.
